Welcome to Wanted: Dead, a brand new intellectual property from 110 Industries, a love-letter to the sixth generation of video game consoles. The game follows a week in life of the Zombie Unit, an elite Hong Kong police squad on a mission to uncover a major corporate conspiracy.

The team is made of: Lt. Hannah Stone, a no nonsense hard boiled Hong Kong cop with phenomenal sword moves and catlike reflexes. Sgt. Arnold Herzog, a loudmouth marksman with dirty jokes for days. Sgt. Manolo Cortez, a mute brute that always has everyone’s back. Doc, a field surgeon with zero tolerance for humor and common sense. Gunsmith, a retired Olympic champion, a retired singer, a retired celebrity chef, currently engineering weapons for the Hong Kong police force. Cap. Albert Simmons, the founder of the Manu Military program aimed at recruiting former war criminals in the ranks of the Hong Kong police force.

Wanted: Dead is first and foremost a slasher from the makers of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. Combat plays a rather significant role in the overall experience. Lt. Hannah Stone is a skilled sword fighter with a wide variety of deadly moves available on demand. The game blends two classic formulas in one: a third-person cover-based shooter and a slasher. Our goal was to create a dynamic balance between ranged and close combat and without being too humble about it, we hope that we were able to achieve a fun combination that will pave the way to a sub genre in its own right.

…old-school U.S. cock rock, Asian influences, white-ass characters, anime cutscenes, FMV commercials, goofy dialogue, and even a random close-up of a cat — Wanted: Dead is a fucking train wreck of design cultures and global influence.

Wanted: Dead features a number of mini-games that include a ramen-eating rhythm button masher, a prize crane, a karaoke and an old-school side scroller called Space Runaway. It is safe to say that we got carried away with Space Runaway and made a complete game that features seven stages and larger than life bosses. The spaceship shooter will be launched later this year and will be available for free on PC, Playstation and Xbox.

Much love,

110 Industries

Vivienne’s Late Night Chow is an integral part of the Wanted: Dead experience. Streaming now!

Before moving to Hong Kong and joining the Manu Militari mercenary unit as a master gunsmith, Vivienne Niemantsverdriet tried herself in a few careers. As a retired Olympic medalist she assumed the mantle of a celebrity chef. These old VHS tapes give us a glimpse into why later in life she quit cooking and started assembling things that go boom.

Once upon a time, I was an Olympic medalist, always geared towards performing better. Food was an important part of my training regime, and even though I ate little, I ate with that deep passion borne from near-starvation. Many a tournament was saved by midnight snacks, as a perennial hunger clouded my athlete’s career.

— Vivinne Niemantsverdriet

Starring Stefanie Joosten, Vivienne’s Late Night Chow is a good idea pushed too far. Directed by Vincent Konings of Kingswood Films. All episodes available on demand.

Vengeance Is Mine’s brutal melee mech combat is augmented with a time-manipulation mechanic that adds a fascinating twist to encounters. Thanks to the capabilities of the HYDRA mech suit, the player will have the ability to speed up time and blink towards unsuspecting enemies or rewind time to readjust combos or evade death. HYDRA also comes packing an energy-based projectile weapon that allows you to take on foes at distance.

Players will step into the shoes of Gabriel Jaeger, brutally executed by three-time travellers heading back to 1664 to obtain an old piece of technology that will allow them to operate the Deacon – a derelict military installation buried under the streets of New Amsterdam. Charles Jaeger, now in full control of the Deacon, rallies his flock to meet their spiritual leader Robert Wright beyond the horizon of space and time. His only problem is Gabriel. Barely making it out alive, Gabriel is in control of the prototype HYDRA mech suit and ready to wreak his revenge.

Welcome to Kepler, a Jovian exoplanet also known as Earth-2. 300-something parsecs from our home world and you’re here. The colonial administration guarantees careers, not jobs, and takes pride in going the extra mile to support the ever growing colony. Interstellar short- term and fixed-term contracts, new opportunities and a fresh start for your whole family.

Not only a developing world full of adventures but also a holiday destination to die for. Wellness programs, office perks, health insurance, performance bonuses, paid sick days, retirement plans, gym memberships, stock options and equity, paid parental leave, childcare assistance, and, get this, diversity program. At least that’s what the booklet says. By the time corporations figured that there’s literally no natural resources on this rock to justify the space travel hurdle, it was already too late. They just had to pull the plug. Goodbye Nvidia, bye-bye Intel, ciao Coca-Cola.

Some settlers were given a choice. You either leave or wait until the next big thing. Well, my grandparents decided to stay. Now, you either work odd jobs, or you’re a farmer. Can’t say that I hate agriculture but there’s only two ways to get off of this planet. You either find a treasure map and become a gazillionaire, or you win the race.
